Arrggg...PG?
I do not like this. AT ALL. *sigh* Hopefully it'll still be good.....hopefully. They're just enjoying messing this movie up as much as they can arent they?

Because we all think he's hot Er, better-looking than Eragon, at least. You know, the tall-dark-handsome fellow.
See, this is Eragon: http://galleries.shurtugal.com/displayi ... m=87&pos=9 - kinda cute, looks very boyish
Whereas this is Murtagh: http://galleries.shurtugal.com/displayi ... =87&pos=34 - *cough* yeah. 'nuff said.

I actually think I like Eragon better. Murtagh always seemed rather snobby to me, but maybe once I see him in the movie I'll like him. I'm determined to like Arya no matter what they do to her.
Wow, it's coming up! 15 days!

*laughs out loud*
I personally have no opinion as to which is better.
Yes, just 15 days... wow, did they ever delay rating the thing!

Ohhhhhh *puts a hand under her chin, scratching her beard (if she had one) and nods thoughtfully to Arwen's words* Ohh, I feel so much enlightened now!
Umm some would claim that Harry Potter looks kinda cute and er... boyish, but I guess it's like the Spice Girls... or... *nervous laugh* maybe not....

15 days! I hope our Dad takes us to see it!!! I'd be exicted. But then again..for some reason, if I never get to see it..I'd be okay with that.
Narnia is makin' me stop likin' everything..hehe..lotr...eragon. *gasp* but I still loove LOTR, even if it doesn't seem like it.

PG? Well, I guess they did it for the kids who want to see the movie but still....it just doesn't seem right, even if you are trying to let the movie viewable for kids. Like most of the comic movies were PG-13 and we have hundreds of little kids watching them.
I just found the reasons why they labeled it PG: "fantasy violence, intense battle sequences, and some frightening images." That's almost exactly like Lord of the Rings. *runs off and checks* Aye, Lord of the Rings was rated PG-13 for: "epic battle sequences and some scary images" This hardly makes any sense.
PS. Murtagh is so much cooler and better than Eragon.

Murtagh is 100x better! not cuz he's better looking, but I love his life-story and all.
PG? hmm..I think it ought to be rated PG-13. I mean, of course, Narnia (once again ) was rated PG, for the book was ment for Children. But I dont think Chris actually ment his series to be for children..

*sigh* This PG thing, 'tis silly.
And yes, movie/book Eragon, I guess it's cos we really do like the mysterious dark haired guy. And Eragon does so many dumb things!! xD He's so silly sometimes.

I'm going to give the non-fangirl answer, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't think Murtagh was slightly better looking than Eragon.
Is your favorite character in LotR automatically Frodo? Is your favorite character in Harry Potter (doesn't nmatter if you've read it) automatically Harry? Nope, mine in LotR is Sam even though Frodo is the protagonist, and in Harry Potter it's Fred and George even though Harry is the protagonist.

Hehe, I'm with you... what I have seen on banners, Murtagh isquite handsome!!
You are right on the protagonist thing. For a long time I thought Murtagh was... *whispers ashamed* one of the bad guys... his name sounded darkish and he is portrayed sort of the dark mysterious guy... this should give you a clue to how little I know of the Eragon, lol
