I'm not sure when i'll see it... the closest theater playing it (the little one in my town isn't) is an hour away. My mom and dad are going to take me, because they always take us to a movie for a family outing for Christmas. So yeah... i might suggest going opening day... but actually I don't really care if I have to wait a few days to see it. I'm excited about seeing it, but not excited enough to see it opening day.

I'll tell you over msn sometime, k? It takes some explaining...

I'm hoping I can see it on Sunday. I get home Friday night, and my sister gets home Saturday, so I hope we can see it Sunday as one small happy family :-D

I started reading the first book because my brother had read the first two and thought they were SO awesome but frankly it almost had me sleeping and I couldn't even finish it. I am very excited about the film though because it does look pretty amazing! I've listened to the score on the official movie site and it's to die for!

I promised my Eragon fanboy of a brother that I'd go see the film with him so that's what I'll do! You can't go wrong with Garrett Hedlund, John Malkovich and Jeremy Irons!

I want to go see it with my friend (who's one here as Elwing). That would be so fun. I doubt we'd agree about it, we don't normally agree about music or movies, but we'd have fun being together anyway! :-D

As for Arwen up there, I always heard that he was such a nice person, does he really have a bad attitude?

And if you all hated him so much then you wouldn't anticipate the movie as much as you have been. And come on, can't we just be a little less mean. Sure the messed up just about everything in the movie, and the book's a bit unoriginal...yet we've all been here in these 900 pages discussing the upcoming Eragon movie and the book....can't we all just get along? :p

Sorry. I'm just distraught at how odd the movie looks...
?

Oh no, I completely agree, and was in no way scolding anyone, it's just theres so much "I can write better" and "He's SUCH AN IDIOT FAKER"
Let's just calmly discuss how much we dislike whatthey've done to the movie instead of ranting thats all i meant....

I agree with My Grandma up there, there are some pretty good supporting actors!
And methinks im going this Friday to see it. :-)

Aye, he is, I think. Hopefully he and the other actors can save the movie. I can hardly wait.

The one and only! He and John Malkovich also played Aramis and Athos respectively in "The Man in the Iron Mask" (with Leonardo DiCaprio).

Both are amazing actors. Jeremy's voice is just to die for

Eru! You can listen to the soundtrack on the main site?! Must...go...find it!

And I am definitely a fan of Mr. Irons' voice. It's really awesome...in the true sense of the word (awe- inspiring).

Yes, it is. :) My older brother says he wants to see Eragon just to hear Jeremy Irons's voice...

Well, I don't suppose I'm not like that but I can't wait for the Northern Lights to come out but anyways, back on topic. I really like Jeremy Irons, both as himself and his voice. When I first began reading it, I saw a picture of Jeremy Irons as Brom and realized that he was the perfect actor.
