Thank God! I've been tired of the Willabeth horse since DMC, and I think more Jack and Barbie is great! They're the ones who make the movies, anyway. If they could get Orlando and Keira back, but no Johnny, I wouldn't see it just because of that. Jack makes the movies, luvs, let's face it. It just wouldn't be Pirates without him. I can deal with no Will or Elizabeth, quite easily, actually, but I couldn't deal with no Jack.

hmmm, well, I don't think Jack and Barbossa are the only ones who make the movies... Will, Elizabeth, Davy, Beckett and the rest of the cast do their fair share... I would never give just one character the full credit.  that's just not fair to the rest of the awesome characters the writers and actors created in PotC. Jack is funny and cool but there's more to the movies than just Jack. For sure it wouldn't be Pirates without him but it also won't be Pirates without Will or Liz.... and really I think a whole movie devoted to Will and Elizabeth wouldn't be half bad (as long as it was a spin-off and really had nothing to do with PotC).  And I'm sorry you feel that way about Willabeth... but I guess I get sick of hearing so much about Jack and how great he is sometimes too  _________________ Chase a couple hearts, we could leave 'em in shreds

It will be Pirates of the Caribbean… a lot because that name is what people know and what will attract people… and it makes them money as you have pointed out, Eruwaedheil. But like you also said for me it will back fire on them… there's no way in the world I will like this movie anywhere near how I like the trilogy. No way. especially if they name it PotC. And you're correct too, Aramel, sadly all good things have to come to an end someday.... they might as well go out now while they're on top. Although I didn't have much of a problem with Will and Elizabeth's romance… it wasn't overpowering to me, they remained loyal to each other even in the most difficult of times, and they were two great characters who you could tell REALLY loved each other… so all that was perfect to me. Although their ending was less than satisfying.... anyway, welcome back, Sarien!!! *waves* I'm so glad you saw where I was going with that. I was afraid I wasn't explaining it very well. Anyhow you got where I was going.
@Silver-I agree but don't agree all at the same time. I do think that they pushed the tragic love story a bit too much from DMC and on. I think they should have just left it at the end like they did in CoTBP. I mean I do think they should have kept them in there and such but not with the whole drama of your not being honest with me im not being honest with you thing. I did think that was a bit much. However I think a movie without them just wouldn't give me the same PoTC feel I would hope for. In my opinion a lot of the PoTC-ish things come from the back and forth between Will and Jack.
@PD(again)-I do agree with you. It took ALL of the characters to make PoTC what it was. I was absolutely appauled when they killed Gov. Swann in AWE. I was furious. _________________ Formerly Eruwaedhiel

I don't understand how there could be a PotC 4... they killed off most of the good characters *coughNorringtoncough* and Orlando and Keira aren't interested in another movie... I mean, watching Jack and Barbossa would be great and all, but it's sad too. 
We could probably debate forever about this, how many new characters could be added and whatnot, but to me I don't think anything would feel the same without the old characters. That's why I was disappointed in DMC and AWE - because everything just suddenly changed and Davy Jones just sort of popped up. Same thing with Tia Dalma. I mean, Scarlett and Giselle were at least brought back and I was happy to see them back again, but the new people just ruined it for me.
I think we need more Pirate movies, just not PotC. Maybe some more of the same humor and witty characters. IDK, just telling you all how I feel.

Oh, and I agree with that bottom part! A lot of the Pirates of the Caribbean-y things that are funny and neat do seem to be between Will and Jack. they make a wonderful team!
Well, I'm happy you agree with me there.  It would take all of the characters for me to watch it... and like Aramel pointed out they killed almost all of the good characters! Like Norrington, yes. He was an awesome character! So it might be funny to watch Jack and Barbossa (although I think it might get old after a time) but it would be sad also because all the other characters who were just as good are not there. 
Well, I wasn't disappointed with them introducing new characters in Dead Man's Chest and At World's End because they still kept most of the old characters (there's actually only one I can think of who they didn't keep)... but with another Pirates if the whole cast is different except Barby and Jack I think it won't be nearly as good... but those are just my opinions. _________________ Chase a couple hearts, we could leave 'em in shreds

Does anyone know why Annamaria wasn't there? She was one of my favorite characters and then all of a sudden she was gone. I didn't hear anything about Zoe Saldana not wanting to do any more movies... so what's up with that?

Yes, however, hating jack seemed to be the common link with all the pirate in AWE..I actually found it very annoying..However, I think Annamaria didn't like Jack but she still respected him. Which I don't think many of the other characters who hated him did, which was probably why i was getting annoyed by it. _________________ Formerly Eruwaedhiel
