-dies- WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT NAILING IT! That's like BAGN on. Even if the MOVIE in itself is well made, (I thought the extension of cultures was alright; I did say that I can see why they added) theres just something wrong about it. I think that the directing was terrible. You look at LOTR and what Pete did, and it just dosent compare. Theres something which just irks me deep down inside about it...
And if they even HINT at anything with Lucy and Caspian I think that I'll stone the director.

Edmund - Not in it enough. Simple as that. He is definitely the best actor out of the two brothers. And it was nice to see his character had grown... whereas some of them had gone backwards....
Lucy - Same with Edmund. Lucy to me IS a part of Narnia. Part of the magic of the first film was Lucy and the way she was entranced with Narnia (although it was more evident in the book). They lost a lot of scenes in the book with her, and with it, they lost some of the spirit of Narnia.
Aslan - As my brother said (who hasn't read the books in years) Aslan is pretty useless in the films. He doesn't do much, he lets people die and it's never explained properly who or what he is. And I agree. There's so much more to Aslan that isn't even eluded to. The CGI for him was better this time though.
Lucy & Aslan - I was majorly disappointed that we didn't see more of Lucy and Aslan's (and where was Susan?) journey and the people they met and gathered for the army. It would have just given the viewer another glimpse of Narnia.
Exactly. EXACTLY. Those were some of my thoughts when I first saw it as well. I am a Narnia purist, mainly becuase I see no reason to change anything. The stories are short enough to not have to. But I'm not going to go through everything again, I did that once already with my review.
Oh, and Reep does have a feather in the books.

Ok, first and foremost... I'm sorry about whatever I might miss in this reply. There have been SO many LONG posts since I was here last...  so I'm just gonna briefly catch up.
What’s this about me giving JF a nice long rant?  I don’t agree with a lot of what she said but at least JF went in to the movie with an open mind and didn’t hate it as badly as I thought she/you would.  and although I’m not in the greatest of moods today, hey, I’m not going to rant. Perhaps it’s just that UKer and Americans look at movies differently. I’m not sure, but whatever. You did explain your reasons, JF… very well too. And I’m glad you had an open mind towards some things at any rate. You can like what you like about it and I’ll like what I like. Personally, The Call (which was the song at the end of the movie ) is one of my favorite songs ever. I saw nothing at all wrong with it. But maybe our ideas of Narnia are different. who knows! 
Anyway, I really hope this Lucy/Caspian ship doesn’t pull through… after the whole Suspian thing it might be kind of cheesey. Like “does Caspian fall in love with every Olden Days queen that comes his way or what?” lol if they do that things will just start getting retarded...

Damson, I would say go watch PC right now! I thought it was really good and really easy to follow. Even if you’ve only read two of the books and all that I think PC is a worthwhile movie. And if you can accept that there is a book and a movie and they each have their own differences and specialties than I think you should enjoy it. you should watch LWW too before you see PC… (and actually *cough cough* I like PC better )
Anie, so that’s what our Eustace is gonna look like, huh? I guess he’s not so bad. I think he fits. (a lot better than *gulp* Zac Efron! ) that’s awesome!
Lar, that was another pretty good review. although I don’t agree with all of it, but hey, so what, right? I can see what you mean with all of it (just like with JF) and that one scene with Jadis and all weirded me out the first time I saw it. it really did, but I don’t mind it quite so much now, I guess. *shrugs* but as Eäryendë just pointed out Edmund was so awesome in that scene so how can you hate it too much?

No way...that is totally sick and twisted...he's like a bajillion years older than her, and in the book he gets married to the Ragu (sorry - can't remember his name) guy's daughter. He doesn't fall for every girl that comes from our world! * is spitting mad*

Yeah, I don't object to Lucy/Caspian in fanfiction- when they're both grown up (esp. Lucy). But lately I've been sticking to the canon ships more. I just put Caspian and Ramandu's daughter together... and you can make OCs for the four Pevensies. Actually, a ship I kind of like is Lucy/Corin. Obviously, that would happen in the latter years of the Pevensie's reign, during/after HHB.
For a Lucy/Caspian ship- in PC, he's about 14, about the same age as Peter. Lucy would be 9. That's too young for both of them, but especially Lucy. If that pairing were going to happen, it'd almost have to be in LB when they get to Aslan's country. She's about... 17 then.

Yeww...
When I was little, I watched Disney movies all the time, but I sure as heck didn't make up random pairings in Narnia. Even when I was 7 I knew there were some boundaries you just don't cross.  _________________

@ PD -  I'm glad we can agree to disagree. The song actually, isn't a bad song, and the lyrics do suit the film... but I don't think it suited where it was placed in the film.  It didn't seem to go with war-torn London to me, I think it would have been good as an end credit song personally.
Aww the feather was cute! I liked it.
Regarding the song- I don't think it was totally out of place. It could've been there, as they were leaving, or just after the credits start to roll. I really love that song.
